About

My name is Marena, and I'm a psychotherapist who works virtually with adults in Oregon, Washington, and Vermont. 

I aim to help people understand and explore the deeper roots of their experiences and potential traumas, while supporting different pathways and choices, finding meaning in life, and feeling liberated in the self - inside and out. My therapeutic approach stems from feminist theory, and is overall psychodynamically based. Depending on a clients behavioral needs, I also utilize DBT and CBT interventions. It is my goal to support you in connecting with yourself and your body, as well as connecting with others through self-exploration and acceptance.

My overall goal is to help you be authentically you, set and hold appropriate boundaries for yourself, and feel connected to yourself and others. I highly value honoring each person’s journey and story. I aim to bring humor to building rapport, while maintaining a warm, curious, and non-judgmental environment.
